Sega has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog will be a participant in the upcoming Rebel Sport Run4Fun charity event, a benefit for the Sydney Children’s Foundation. The goal is to raise $5,000 (AUD) for the charity, which is the main funding block for the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, in time for the event. At the time of this publication, the Hedgehog has only raised $80 (AUD). To support Sega’s mascot and his participation in the Rebel Sport Run4Fun charity, head on over to the blue rodent’s official donation page. If not for the children, then for the poor office intern in the Sonic costume Sega forces to run.
