A new teaser site has popped up from Square Enix which, according to Andriasang, hints at a new The World Ends With You (TWEWY) title, featuring character designs from Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi. The reasoning behind the possibility of a new TWEWY-related game is that within the URL is the phrase “Subaseka,” a possible reference to the original game’s Japanese title of “Subarashiki Kono Sekai.” Many fans have been taking apart pictures from the site, finding this image, which is the model for the original game’s map of Shibuya.
Nomura has been hinting at a possible TWEWY sequel being under consideration for a while, including multiple character cameos in Kingdom Hearts 3D. In an interview with Andriasang, he stated that the Rhyme character was given a voice in the chance of a TWEWY sequel being made.
