According to Destructoid, Nintendo has begun inviting U.S. press to an event called “Come Play With Us @ Wii U Software Showcase”.
The event will be held at Nintendo’s E3 2013 showfloor booth, and will include presentations from both Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto. The press will also be able to experience Nintendo’s latest games “through a unique hands-on time experience”. The event will begin at 10:30am PST on June 11th before the booth is open to general admission.
This is likely one of the “few smaller events” Nintendo announced earlier last month that they will be showcasing in lieu of giving a proper E3 press conference this year.
