Last week it was rumored that the Crash Bandicoot IP had been sold back to Sony, following the removal of all traces of the franchise on Activision’s website, and the closure of the official Crash Bandicoot site.
Activision has since confirmed to GameInformer that this is not the case. “Activision owns Crash Bandicoot and we continue to explore ways in which we could bring the beloved series back to life,” the Activision rep said.
