While anticipating gamers have been holding their breath for over 3 years now over the release of Final Fantasy XIII, Kotaku has reported on a quote that most likely means an end to all the waiting. Yoichi Wada, speaking to IT Media in regards to XIII‘s launch date, is quoted as saying that, “We’ll be making an announcement in a few weeks,” placing the possible reveal at the prime time of September’s Tokyo Game Show. While this information will most likely only pertain to the quasi-exclusive PS3 version – in Japan – all solid information on the title is a build towards street dates being announced for Western shelves, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of which will share a simultaneous release.
