The PlayStation 3 exclusive, Yakuza 3 released February of this year in Japan, is finally getting localized for the U.S. and European market stated Sega rep Aaron Webber early on this week. During Tokyo Game Show, the next iteration of the series, Yakuza 4 was announced. New to the series, gamers are able to play four heroes with intertwining story arcs, which you can switch in and out at anytime during story progression: Kazuma Kiryu, former protagonist in the series; Shun Akiyma, former homeless man/small time loan shark; Taiga Saejima, Yakuza assassin/prison escapee who was involved in the massacre of 18 rival mobsters, and Masayoshi Tanimura, a corrupt police detective. Yakuza 4 is set to release sometime next year in Japan.
