Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has told the Official Nintendo Magazine to expect the next Zelda Wii title announcement at the next E3. When asked what can we expect from the title he replied, “It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise.” Aonuma has also confirmed full Wii Motion Plus Support. For a full in-depth interview with Eiji Aonuma pick up the Official Nintendo Magazine issue 51 to retail on December 18th.

  1. Ok, I expected as much. Maybe they will show Pikmin 3 there too, and how about a new franchise, or how about a franchise that hasn’t gotten a game in forever (Kid Icarus anyone?).

  2. So I guess this means the Wii will be around until like 2014. Zelda games always take forever to be released.

I want to see Star Tropics make it’s way into 3D. With a very high budget.
