Capcom has announced Resident Evil 5 Gold edition, which is the physical boxed copy of Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition retailing for $49.99. Features include the original game, downloadable episodes, new costumes, and new “Mercenaries Reunion” mode . Exclusive to the Gold Edition is the feature of eight new playable characters instead of two which you will be getting from downloadable content off of PSN or XBL. Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is set to release a month after the DLC.
Since I still haven’t play Resident Evil 5 I might have to pick up this edition of the game.
Definitely giving a harder incentive to make the upgrade, I approve of this…they have obviously been paying attention to the “Versus” flack.
Might get it.
Well, they will have everything accessible from the beginning this time, no paying to get a code to unlock the content on disc this time, and for a lesser price to boot.
