Today, the European Community Manager for Sega announced that Yakuza 3 will be making it’s way to the United States and Europe in March 2010. Though the game was already released in Japan late February 2009, localization of the game has taken almost a full year. According to Sega, the reason for this is that the localized version will not only contain full English voice-overs, but also the authentic Japanese voice track along with English subtitles.

Yakuza 3 received several game-of-the-year awards in Japan and was re-released as a Platimum edition in that region last week. The game will be released exclusively for the Playstation 3, though a specific release date other than the ‘March 2010’ release window was not stated.
