Rental chain Movie Gallery has announced they are filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy to structure and reorganize its business operations resulting in 760 Game Crazy stores being liquidated and closed. Movie Gallery will still run 250 Game Crazy stores at selected locations and plan on continuing normal operations with a focus on fewer, more profitable stores.
That Sucks, I hope my local Game Crazy doesn’t close. I think it does good for themselves. I like them better than Game Stop, since Game Crazy is pretty laid back. If they go out, I might either just buy more games online or buy more games from local shops.
