The full Playstation Move motion control set debuted at this year’s GDC included a supplemental controller in addition to the main control-wand. Known at the time as the very clinical “sub-controller,” Sony has officially renamed it the less clinical “Navigation” controller. The wireless attachment’s name change was confirmed with a recent FCC document, and a subsequent posting on the Official Playstation website.

The Navigation is a way better name than the Sub-Controller, but then again almost anything would be a better name than Sub-Controller.
