Last month, Sega announced that Conduit 2, the sequel to 2009’s Wii-based first-person shooter The Conduit, would not be released on November 2nd, as originally intended. This date was shared by the re-release of the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007. Today, Sega confirmed that Conduit 2 will be available at retailers in February 2011. A specific date was not confirmed.

The additional time available to the developers will be used to further polish the game, and add support for the Nintendo Wii classic controller. Conduit 2 will feature 4-player online and offline gamemodes, and will feature cooperative as well as competitive online multiplayer support.
