The once-rival Olympians are gearing up for another World Games with the announcement of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The plumber and hedgehog will run the gamut of sports-themed mini-games this time on both the Wii and 3DS, over 50 of which are present on the handheld version. The press release confirms that new events will include soccer and equestrian challenges, as well as some less realistic “dream events”.
