According to a report by Massively, former Realtime Worlds boss Dave Jones is working with GamersFirst on All Points Bulletin: Reloaded. Jones was the designer behind the ill-fated first incarnation of All Points Bulletin, which was released in June 2010, but shut down within three months as the developer was forced to enter into administration.
According to GamersFirst, Jones has taken on an advisory role and will share his experience from earlier development on the title to guide the developer through critical stages of the development process. Jones himself seemed eager to be able to return to development of his project, stating that “[t]he game was my passion back when I was developing it with Realtime Worlds. […] I’m extremely excited to be able to participate in fulfilling the long term vision for the title.”
All Points Bulletin: Reloaded is currently undergoing closed beta testing, with an open beta phase scheduled to begin on May 18th.
