According to a report obtained by Gamasutra, Sony has promised partners that it will relaunch the Playstation Store on May 24th if it does not encounter any new problems. The report also details when content that was scheduled to be launched during the downtime will be released in the store. More information is included after the jump.
According to report, content that was originally scheduled for a release on April 26th will be included in the store as soon as the service is restored. Three days later, all the content that was supposed to be part of the May 3rd content update will be added. Content that was intended for a release on May 10th, May 17th, and May 24th will be spread across the separate store updates on May 31st and June 3rd.
It was further added that Sony is willing to move content around, if requested by a publisher or developer. It is currently unclear if Sony will try to compensate developers for the PSN outage that started mid-April and lasted well over three weeks.
Well that is good. It is nice to see when Sony will put the store back up so I can see what I want to purchase in the future.
