Revealed via June’s Game Informer (via NeoGAF), Rayman Origins has moved up from a downloadable title to a full fledged retail release, and is scheduled for this Holiday. According to the scant details available, the game is aiming for a more balanced difficulty and varied gameplay. Players can collect “Lums” as currency and purchase new power ups, and “I Dare You” challenges, where players gamble their assets on whether they can execute a complicated acrobatic chain move. The game will support 4 player local co-op, and is set to release on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
