Aaron Webber, Associate Brand Manager over at Sega, just confirmed a Western release for what is known in Japan as Yakuza: Of the End over at the Playstation Blog. Renamed Yakuza: Dead Souls for the US, the gangsters vs. zombies shooter/hostess club simulation is scheduled for March of next year, and includes a brand new minigame: Pachislot. Similarly to Yakuza 4 the crime drama narrative is spread across four protagonists, each with unique skills and back-stories.
Any Yakuza fans eager to take on the zombie hordes as Kazuma Kiryu? Anyone as confused as we are by the somewhat oxymoronic Dead Souls subtitle? Comment below!
