Industry Gamers reports that APB: Reloaded has managed to attract over 3 million registered users since it was released on Steam a mere eight days ago. These numbers have made the game, which is a free-to-play reincarnation of 2010’s All Points Bulletin, has become the second most popular free-to-play title on Steam. The original All Points Bulletin was developed by Realtime Worlds, but saw its servers shut down after 2 months and 17 days of playtime. The studio shuttered shortly afterwards, with the IP picked up by Gamersfirst who then continued development on the title for over a year to finally return it to market.
Steam is amazing for exposure. It’s been F2P for a while.
