Speaking to Joystiq, Konami has confirmed that the Silent Hill HD Collection, which features Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, is now scheduled for a release in March. The collection was actually scheduled for a release on the 24th of January, but major retailers informed consumers who had pre-ordered the title that they expected launch date had shifted to March 6th. Though Konami has confirmed that the release date has moved, it has not yet made an official state on the specific date on which the game will hit the shelves.
The changed release date means that the Silent Hill HD Collection will share a release window with the eighth installment in the series, Silent Hill: Downpour, and the PS Vita-exclusive Silent Hill: Book of Memories. Konami confirmed to Joystiq that each of these titles will receive a definitive release date later this week.
