According to a report by Kotaku, GameStop employees have received a message from Ubisoft announcing that “Season Passes” will soon be made available for pre-order at the retailer. The message states that the publisher is currently in the process of putting together a development team to work on “post-launch episodic content,” and that pre-orders for an all-access pass to this content will be made available alongside pre-orders of the game soon.
Ubisoft has not confirmed the report, and no indication regarding a price-point for this season pass is currently available.
Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled for a release on October 30th on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, with a PC version expected before the end of the year.
