Atlus’ North American CEO Steps Down

The Verge reports that the parent organization of developer / publisher Atlus, Index Digital Media has announced the departure of North American President and CEO Shinichi Suzuki, who will be leaving Atlus in September. Suzuki has fulfilled this role since 2004, and is being replaced immediately by Naoto Hiraoka, the current Head of Consumer Business. Hiraoka has been an employee of Atlus since 2001.
It is not clear what Suzuki’s future plans are, though he will remain part of Atlus as an advisor until his definitive departure next month.
