‘Borderlands 2′ to be Released Uncut Worldwide
06 Aug, 2012
Gearbox Software has recently announced on its official blog that Borderlands 2 will be released uncut worldwide, making it one of the few games that feature gratuitous violence and gore but are still allowed to be released without any changes in countries like Germany and Australia. To accommodate users who prefer a less violent experience, the game will feature an option to turn gore off.
The developer was forced to remove certain content from the original Borderlands in order for it to pass rating requirements in certain territories. Borderlands 2 will release on PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on September 18th.
