According to a report by the official Playstation Magazine, Dragon’s Dogma creator Hideaki Istuno told Famitsu in a recent interview that only 60% or 70% of his ideas for the RPG made it into the final game. Additionally, the world was only two-thirds as large as he had intended it to be, leaving him with a lot of content he had wished to cover in the game. As one of his must-have features for a sequel he stated a Quest Creation system, though did not elaborate on what this would entail.
Publisher Capcom recently announced that it was intending to develop Dragon’s Dogma into a new, major franchise, following a positive reception and early success in Japan.
