Microsoft’s motion sensor, Kinect, has officially gotten it’s first major price drop, in the form of a permanent 27% reduction. According to the Major Nelson blog, the camera peripheral will be reduced from $149.99 to $109.99. It was not stated whether or not the price reduction will begin immediately, but many online retailers, including Amazon, have already begun carrying the device at the reduced cost.
