Sony has announced today that Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls will be releasing October 8th on PlayStation 3, and will also feature Willem Dafoe.
Dafoe will play a scientist called Nathan Dawkins, who is sent by the government to study Jodie Holmes’ (Ellen Page) supernatural abilities. Two videos have been released, one is a clip from the game, The other is a behind-the-scenes interview with Willem Dafoe speaking about the relationship between Dawkins and Holmes.
People who pre-order Beyond (while supplies last) will be upgraded to the special edition, which includes a Steelbook case, behind-the-scenes videos, a copy of the soundtrack, a dynamic PS3 theme and PSN avatars. Those who pre-order at GameStop in the U.S., or for Canada EB Games, will be receiving an exclusive half hour of extra content.
