Brad Wardell, CEO of Stardock and Civilization V developers: Dan Baker, Marc Meyer, Brian Wade and Tim Kipp have formed a new studio called Oxide Games.
The studio is working on a new 64-bit engine called Nitrous and it is being built for use on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stardock provided the seed funding for Oxide Games, and is currently developing games to run on the engine. The team at Oxide is also working with Nvidia, AMD and Intel to maximize compatibility for the new engine.
