Second Life creator Linden Lab has announced that it has hired former Yahoo! executive Ebbe Altberg as its new CEO.

Altberg is joining the company from BranchOut where he was COO. He also served as part of the Yahoo! executive team and served in leadership positions at Ingenio and Microsoft.
