Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has promoted senior vice president of digital entertainment, David Haddad, to the new role of vice president of publishing operations.
Haddad’s promotion comes as part of “strategic management realignment” at the company, with the goal of increasing top-line revenue and easing its transition into digital entertainment. He will report directly to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president Martin Tremblay.
“I am very pleased to help extend our reach and operate as effectively as possible to maximize future endeavors for continued positive results,” Haddad said in a statement. “We are focused on distributing high-quality games across all platforms, and we will look to expand further into digital, games as a service, mobile and emerging markets.”
Haddad will now oversee worldwide sales and distribution of console and digital games, digital publishing, live publishing and business intelligence. Prior to working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Haddad was the COO of Activision’s Guitar Hero business.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is scheduled to publish the Monolith developed Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor on the 7th of October this year.
