Former Epic Games designer Cliff Bleszinski has formed a new studio with Guerilla Games co-founder Arjan Brussee called Boss Key Productions, Polygon reports.
Bleszinski registered the Raleigh-based studio with the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State, and listed himself as CEO and Brussee as the COO. Brussee and Bleszinski have worked together before on the first two Jazz Jackrabbit games where Brussee was lead programmer and Bleszinski a designer.
“I do not comment on rumors and speculation on the birthday of the nation that could allow a game designer to have a fantastic 20-year run at his first studio and then take nearly two years off only to seek out funding and start his new lean, agile, fun startup in Raleigh, N.C.,” Bleszinski told Polygon.
According to the Boss Key Twitter account, more information about the studio will be coming tomorrow at 9am PST.
