Electronic Arts has revealed a subscription service for Xbox One that will give gamers access to a collection of EA titles, for a monthly or annual fee.

For $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year Xbox One owners will get access to ‘The Vault’, as well as a 10 percent discount on EA digital content for Xbox One.

The Vault is a collection of titles that will be available to subscribers to download and play at no extra cost. It will begin with FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 with more games to be added later on.

Early access to titles will also be a benefit of the subscription, with players able to download games up to five days before their official launch and play for “at least two hours”, and carry over any saved progress to the full title if the game is purchased. The first games to use this feature include Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

“The service is being rolled out in beta to a limited number of players today, but it will launch for everyone on Xbox One soon,” EA wrote on its website, in part. “At EA, we are always looking for new ways to make it easier for gamers to play more EA games across all platforms, and we are excited about what EA Access will offer to players on Xbox One.”
