According to Reuters, Nintendo Chief Satoru Iwata has returned to work after recovering from a surgery to remove a tumor from his bile duct.
Iwata missed E3 as well as Nintendo’s annual shareholders meeting in June while recovering from the surgery. However, Iwata has made his first public appearance since the surgery to deliver Nintendo’s quarterly earning report to investors.
Iwata noted that he had lost weight while recovering, but feels healthy now.
Earlier this year, Nintendo’s board of directors re-elected the company president to its board, after posting a third successive annual loss in 2013.
