Microsoft has confirmed reports from earlier today, claiming Xbox Entertainment Studios head Nancy Tellem and second in command Jordan Levin have been let go as part of a broader round of layoffs as the studio has been officially closed.

Microsoft confirmed in July that Xbox Entertainment Studios would close as part of a restructuring effort throughout the company.
