An online petition hits the web soon after the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episode 1 trailer was released. Sonic fans are demanding for a more “classic” Sonic design in Sonic 4 as Sega gave empty promises of a true sequel since Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the Genesis. IDK… it seems like Sega is trying to sucker us again… but for some reason, I don’t think it is working like it did in the past. Maybe gamers have caught onto the fact that Sonic is most likely dead.
The 2.5D gameplay seems a step in the right direction, but the fact that its not 2D sprites… and its episodic… seems to be giant flashing warning lights telling me not to have good expectations for the game.
