If you’re looking forward to Red Faction: Armageddon – which is planned for release sometime around May this year – you might want to check out Red Faction: Battlegrounds. The game is a top-down shooter which will feature a large portion of vehicles and weapons from the upcoming full retail Red Faction title.
Red Faction: Battlegrounds is being developed by THQ Digital Warrington (formerly Juice Games) who are best known for their Juiced racing series. The game will be released for the Playstation network and the Xbox Live Arcade for $10, but if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber, the title will be free. Battlegrounds is set for release on April 5 for the Playstation Network and for the Xbox 360 Arcade at a later date.
