Responding to a comment placed by a user on one of the Rockstar blog-posts, a Rockstar Games representative stated that the company would soon be making an announcement in response to rumors that have recently begun to surface concerning exclusive content for the Playstation 3 version of L.A. Noire.
Rockstar Games, the publisher of detective game L.A. Noire (currently in development at Team Bondi in Australia), stated in the comment section of a recent blog post that more information regarding such exclusive content would be “coming soon.”
Rumors regarding such content have begun to surface after several retailers (including Gamestop and Amazon) posted box art for the game on their websites, including an additional line that stated “Exclusive Content.” Unconfirmed rumors indicate that a mission titled “Consul’s Car Traffic Case” will be exclusive to the Playstation 3.
L.A. Noire was originally announced as a Playstation 3-exclusive, but Rockstar-owner Take Two Interactive stated in a conference call in 2008 that the game would also be available on Xbox 360. This news wasn’t officially confirmed until early 2010.
The game is out on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 17th.
