John Smedley, the President of Sony Online Entertainment, has confirmed on his personal Twitter account that since DC Universe Online has gone free-to-play on November 1st, the daily revenue has gone up by over 700%. He also added that the user base has been steadily growing at around 6% a day, with approximately 85% of those players having previously played the game.
Despite only having launched in January earlier this year, DC Universe Online had been suffering from a dwindling userbase, which forced the developers to consolidate the total number of servers down to four in August. It is unclear whether the recent re-emergence of the title will force Sony Online Entertainment to bring back some of these other servers.
