With the huge shocker of Final Fantasy XIII coming to the Xbox 360 at E3 2008, another announcement by Hiromichi Tanaka at GamesCon has revealed the possibility of the next numbered iteration in the Final Fantasy may also hit Microsoft’s console.
Tanaka states the reason holding back the Xbox360’s release is the XBL policy, “Because 360 has its own policy with Xbox Live that is different from [the] internet, that’s something we’re in discussions with Microsoft [about], to come to an agreement”
Even though Jack Trenton has announced exclusivity of FFXIV for the PS3 and PC, it’s only a timed exclusive and the title maybe released for the Xbox 360 in the future.
I doubt it. I mean consider the fees–Xbox Live fees plus FFXIV fees. That’s a lot of fees.
^Plus internet and power bills.
Isn’t FFXIV supposed to be free? or was I misinformed?
^ I haven’t heard anything about it being free or priced but I’m assuming it’d be priced because let’s face it–people gots to get paid.
^And considering that FFXI had a fee to play.
ya never know, Squenix could get crazy and make it free service like guildwars and maybe get more people playing? who knows what’ll happen, even though yes, payments will probably be more likely…
