According to a report by The Verge, the Xbox 360 will be the exclusive console-partner for the upcoming RedBox Instant service. More details on the service are included after the jump.
The service will be available for $8 a month in approximately two months, and will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription as well. Users will be able to rent up to 4 DVDs a month and have access to unlimited streaming of content. Non-subscribers will be able to purchase and rent content as well, though an Xbox Live Gold subscription is still required.
Though the Xbox 360 is the only console on which RedBox Instant will be available when it launches, the service will also be available on iOS and Android devices as well as Smart TVs and Google TV.
