Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity game has finished, and the winner has been confirmed by Molyneux in a Twitter message as Bryan Henderson from Edinburgh.
With Henderson’s permission, 22Cans has posted the video he received on YouTube. The video reveals that Henderson will play the role of God in 22Cans’ upcoming PC and Mobile title, Godus.
As God, not only will Henderson be able to decide the rules under which Godus is played, but he will also share in the success of the game. “Every time people spend money on Godus, you will get a small piece of that pie”, Molyneux explains in the video. “It means that you will decide on how people will play a game, from the start until the finish of your reign. That, by any definition of the word, is life changing.”
“I hope that you find this was worth the sore fingers you may have gained by tapping, and I hope the world agrees with me that it’s a worthy prize of the efforts of What’s Inside the Cube.” he added.
Molyneux also said that 22Cans may execute another gaming experiment in the future that is “even more intriguing”.
