Criterion founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry have announced a new indie development studio called Three Fields Entertainment, following their exit from Criterion in January.
“Today we are excited to announce our new British games company -Three Fields Entertainment,” Ward announced on Twitter. A website has also been launched but currently only features a logo and contact information. “We are looking for talented Staff who are skilled in at least three fields of creating electronic entertainment.” he added. “We will make games for all platforms where we can self-publish.”
Ward and Sperry formed Criterion Games in 2000 out of Criterion Software, the technology company that created RenderWare. The studio has since created the Burnout franchise as well as Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: Most Wanted before Ghost Games acquired the franchise in August 2013.
