According to a report from Game Informer, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara sent out a memo to employees this week saying that layoffs are set to begin across the company.
“These are difficult decisions, and we don’t take them lightly,” Tsujihara wrote in the memo acquired by Game Informer. “We examined every aspect of our businesses to ensure that we were restructuring in a way that would allow us to minimize the impact on our employees, while continuing to adapt to the changing global marketplace.”
The cuts beginning this week will reportedly continue into the first quarter of 2015. The game division of the company was not directly addressed, however Infinite Crisis developer Turbine has had two rounds of layoffs this year, one in February and more recently in October.
