Patrice Désilets, creative director of the original Assassin’s Creed, has announced a new studio via his Twitter account.
The studio, called Panache Digital Games, is the first project from Désilets after departing Ubisoft for the second time last year.
Désilets originally departed Ubisoft in 2010 and joined THQ who created a new studio in Montreal which he led. After THQ’s bankruptcy, Ubisoft acquired the Montreal studio and Désilets departed again in May 2013. However, he claimed he was fired and would later file a lawsuit against Ubisoft seeking $400,000 in damages, severance and reimbursements.
