In a press release issued to Eurogamer, NCSoft has announced that Guild Wars 2 will be getting a first person mode along with other new features on March 10th.
“There aren’t any restrictions on where first-person can be used,” NCSoft said, meaning players can use it while exploring, battling enemies, or even other players.
In addition to the first person view, players will also have access to a field of view slider, a horizontal/vertical position slider allowing, for example, players to create an over-the-shoulder view. There will also be a camera that focuses on a character’s head, and a setting which can alter when a camera snaps during collisions.
The new features will be shown in a Guild Wars 2 Twitch livestream tomorrow, 27th February, 8pm GMT.
