Rockstar has announced that the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V will be getting more music and a new radio station in addition to the music added in the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
Two of the composers of GTA V‘s soundtrack, The Alchemist and Oh No, have partnered with Woody Jackson and Tangerine Dream to create a new album that will be debut in GTA V on PC, and also be purchasable as a standalone album called Welcome to Los Santos on April 21st.
“The Alchemist and Oh No weave together a musical journey that covers every corner of the fictional world of Grand Theft Auto V and features guests from across the musical spectrum – including Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands),” Rockstar said.
The music from Welcome to Los Santos will be found on a new radio station called The Lab, when the game releases for PC on April 14th. Those interested can listen to the first single from the album, “Play it Cool“, on SoundCloud.
