Reloaded Games has announced on Facebook, that it has acquired the rights to Hawken, following nearly a year of silence from the game’s original owners.
“I’m pretty excited to now be able to announce that Reloaded Games is the new owner of Hawken,” Joshua Clausen of Reloaded Games’ parent company K2 Network wrote on the game’s official Facebook page. “It’s a seriously great honor to be a part of the Hawken story, and I want to see it thrive.”
The company is planning to roll out a number of fixes to the game soon.
Meteor Entertainment, Hawken‘s original publisher, closed its Seattle office last year before consolidating its operations to its Los Angeles studio. Hawken‘s open beta was launched in 2012, and eventually moved onto Steam through the Early Access program.
