Sony Computer Entertainment were pleased to announce that sales of the newest SKU of their home console have surpassed the one million unit mark, three weeks after its September 1st 2009 launch. Sales are based on accumulated worldwide data, as interpreted and estimated by Sony Computer Entertainment.
In hopes of drumming up further sales, Sony has also announced several new bundles for the system. While those in the land of the rising sun are netting a slick Final Fantasy XIII bundle, gamers in the West can look forward to hardware combined with both the latest in the popular soccer franchise FIFA 10, and the most recent installment to Electronic Arts’ racing series Need for Speed: Shift. Like the Final Fantasy bundle, the included PS3 Slim will feature a 250GB hard drive. Looks like the Uncharted 2 bundle may not have been as confirmed as we previously thought.
