Customers looking to pre-order Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U (just recently confirmed for a November 18th launch in the West) are being told that the system is “not available at Amazon.com at this time.” Email subscriptions are available for updates should the pre-orders become available, but no information has released so far on Amazon US and Canada’s lack of a current option.

“Unfortunately the Wii U console is not available at Amazon.com at this time but please check back in the future, as availability may change,” reads Amazon’s comment on the matter, in part. If you still wish to pre-order the system, you are able to do so from most online retailers – including Amazon’s French (www.amazon.fr) and UK (www.amazon.co.uk) portals – although all are currently sold out of the deluxe 32gb SKU, with the 8gb basic SKU not far behind.
