Lead Designer on Star Wars: The Old Republic, Daniel Erickson, officially left Bioware last week. Having dropped subtle hints over the past few months through his LinkedIn account, Erickson made it official via Twitter, with the message “As part of leaving BioWare I’m officially starting a twitter account for job hunt and design thoughts. ”
No word on why Erickson left, but it is only the latest high profile withdrawal from Bioware Austin, which also recently lost Executive Producer – and studio co-founder – Rich Vogel (who landed at Bethesda’s new studio). Bioware founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk also recently left for other pastures, equally without any word on future plans
