Kirkland, WA – News arrived today that on the third of September a new episode of DLC will be made available for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin by developed Monolith Studios and publisher Warner Bros. The pack of downloadable content will contain a new single player campaign named ‘Reborn’ and spans four levels. The campaign is set parallel to the events in the original Project Origin campaign and has the player take on the role of a Replica soldier named Foxtrot813.
The ‘Reborn’ DLC pack is the third to be released for the game and follows ‘Toy Soldiers’ which was released in April and ‘Armored Front’ which was released in May. Together with the launch on September 3rd, the game will also receive a title update. The free title update will contain a new multiplayer variant available to all users, called ‘Slow-Mo Deathmath’.
The DLC will be available on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. A PC version will be available at a yet unspecified later date. A price for the DLC pack has not been announced yet either.
Awesome! I should be getting my copy of FEAR 2 in the mail today. I love when developers take on more SP missions.
