Cologne, Germany – MTV’s videogaming blog Multiplayer reported earlier today that Pete Hines, Bethesda Softworks’ Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, stated that an announcement regarding an unknown title would be made “in the next month or so”. This title is supposedly set for a release in 2010.
At the press conference at GamesCom yesterday, Bethesda revealed almost no noteworthy news. Rumours concerning a new instalment in Bethesda’s popular Elder Scrolls mounted over the previous month, but hopes were shattered last week when executive producer Todd Howard stated that there are no current plans for a fifth instalment in the long-lasting series.
Earlier this year, Sean Brennan (managing director for Bethesda Europe) stated that the company would be making an announcement for a Wii-title aimed at a mature audience later this year.
